...'twas the night before Cali, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...we had just settled in for a long winters nap..."
I most certainly feel ready for a short winter's nap...
Before I get up early to drive the last 6 hours to LOS ANGELES!
I made it safe and sound to St. George, to stay wth my adopted parents, Keith and Glenna Funk.
I sampled 5 different homemade jams on homemade bread, with eggs (I'm sure those were homemade too...coopmade?) as we shared life experiences and truths we are learning from them. I love these people.
So what will Santa bring me tomorrow?
I decided to offer my Cali wish list on my knees...
I asked my Heavenly Father to prepare and soften hearts for people to be receptive to the glad tidings of any worthy Christmas message that should be offered daily: Christ is born! He lives! His gospel is restored!
...I asked for people to see me the way God sees me...to see my potential and want to take a chance on me.
...I asked for the gift of discernment to know where to be, when to be, with whom to speak, where to live...etc.
...I asked for safety.
And this is just the beginning.
Merry Cali.
